If all of your tyres were fine before your car was picked up by Porsche for repair, and then when returned, one of the rear tyre pressures is down quite a lot?
I corrected the pressure straight away, drove it 40 miles and then the next day, noticed the pressure was down again. Took it to a local tyre specialist who identified a small hole in the tyre, which could not be repaired.
How can I prove it was Porsche who got the slow puncture? Anyone else had similar experiences and how was it dealt with?

Personally, I don't think it would matter if it was them.
Punctures are an unfortunate fact of life. I don't know if you mean they drove it when you say they "collected it" - but even if not, I assume they performed some kind of test drive after their repair. I don't think they can be blamed that it picked up a puncture along the way?

Thanks for your thoughts. They picked up the car, test drove it and returned it to my home address. Punctures are an unfortunate fact of life. They must have some kind of insurance. Same garage scratched my car twice and dented it on separate occasions and fixed it. Why would this be different. The cost to me is £280

It is different. That is negligence, and if it happened to me I'd also expect them to fix it. But a puncture is not negligence, it's simply bad luck.a few years agow now, i had a brand new ford mondeo estate ,
i was 3oo miles from home when the drive belt broke !
took it into the local ford dealership who mended it.
i was given a courtesy car , and when i returned to pick up my car, i was told "your car has slipped off the ramp " ???
The damage was repaired.
TWo years later there was a fault in the dash, and when the clock gage was removed , found someone had "fiddled" with the back and tried to solder the damage !!!
obviously , in retrospect i new some one had been driving my car , and had tried to return the milage to where it had been when i took the car in. !
Have never and would never buy a ford car again
trying to proove something has been done while in the dealership, is nearely impossible.

Covered under Porsche warranty - they are the closest garage, unless I want to send it to somewhere outside of London. What would you do, considering logistics, lack of time in the day (I work) etc?!Dude - WTF?
