Evening All!

Decided to take the 964 out tonight for a short hoon. Drove the 20 mins from home to the secure garage I keep it in, sat down, reached for the immobliser key and discovered it has come off the key fob. fking Arse!!

Pic below is of the spare but I don't like having only one.

Anyone advise on how I go about getting a replacement? Can't see any docs relating to the immob. from when I bought the car 4 years back.

Would appreciate any help I can get. Will it be an OPC bottom-punching experience??

Thanks,

Ali

Most OPC's (Swindon being one for definite) have an immobiliser key reading tool - the key is inserted into the tool and the key number is displayed on the tool display; a replacement key can then be ordered from H&P.

Ordered one for a 993 customer a month or so ago - around 20 quid iirc

Hi

I had the same on a 993 a few years ago. I sent the remaining key to Hamilton & Palmer, telephone:- (0)1732 760022 and they read the number and sent me two new ones. They were great, give them a call, of course you may have the number on a card with the car documentation?
