Hi Guys,

anyone done this before? The cage looks like its held in with three bolts per leg and the buckets with four each. Is it as easy as it sounds?

Always wanted the cage to be in body colour, and I can't think of any other way to clean the inside of the back window.

Any advise greatly appreciated smile

It takes longer to get the seats and harnesses dismantled and out! Need two people to carfefully remove the cage sections once its all unbolted. Got it down to 45 minutes with practice.

Cage in for track days and then cage out for touring and extra luggage space.

Doable but can be a major pain - mine needed heavy duty ratchet straps thightened up to the max to get the cage to align again properly.
Not something I'd want to do again. Front cage extension equally a pain.

Hmmm.... decisions

I love the look of the RS-s with the body coloured cages and my painter will do the colour change for 150.00 (will be a proper job too).

Are the bolts on the tube work not there to allow adjustment? Surely this must help with re-installing it?
