Warranty Transfer

I sent my Porsche warranty off about 3 weeks ago to transfer it to myself, does anyone know how long it usually takes to get it back?

When a warranty was transferred to me from previous owner I never received anything. However my local OPC confirmed that the ownership details were updated and the warranty was valid.

Just go in and speak to them. I did that, they updated the cars details on the Porsche system so im now owning the car.

I would have thought you would get something back, so you know it's been transferred. I sent the paperwork off regarding the warranty so you would think you would get it back, so at least you know the terms and conditions of the policy at least. Great customer service if you don't get anything.

I sent my paperwork by recorded post - they received it then lost it

Biggest nightmare ever.

Have done twice in the last year with two different OPC both times didnt get anything back for many months despite me chasing non stop.

Eventually just checked its recording on the system and got the service advisor to write a letter confirming that warranty and assist had been transferred.

Call Porsche Reading and ask to be put through to the warranty dept (the OPC is joined with the head office in Reading)

Mine tootk around 6 weeks to come back... it was just a letter saying my next renewal date for my warranty was when...
