I recently bought a very early Cayenne Turbo and just wondered how thorough the health check was. Do they check for error codes etc?

Cheers.

This is a question you should have known the answer to *before* you bought the car.

The best source (or possibly the worst source) for an answer would be the place from which you bought the vehicle.

So, anyways, anyone know if OPC's take a look for error codes when they're on their health drive?

I dont think they will offer it as part of a free health check. When I enquired about one it only consisted of the very basic stuff like checking the battery, exhaust, brakes and fluid levels. Nothing you couldn't do yourself. Getting codes read would be something they would charge for.

Thanks Sandman. The car's in with a Project 9 at the mo, who are going to have a look into its various nooks and crannies. Nervous...me? Eek..

Your car is in safe hands at P9.

Cliff/Clive (always forget) knows his way around.

I got my OPC 111 check done on my car to extend the warranty; ok I guess they spotted stuff like worn wiper blade, and out of date tyre filler.

None of which I really thought was needed, but had to covered off.
