Anything the same colour will not be discovered. ATE super blue can also be had in the non blue colour which will be OK or the Motul RBF600 is a favourite. Does it definately have to say "Porsche" on the bottle ??
Useful info - no I would prefer to have Castrol SRF but in the event of any warranty claim I don't want to be told that my warranty's invalid - hence the question. Car is only 1 year old.J-P said:

I dont know how they would tell its not Porsche fluid other than if you put Super Blue in but one thing you could do is just make sure you bleed the system regularly with oem fluid to ensure its always as fresh as it could be. Do you track or is this a road only car ? Far Cough said:

Yes I do track days hence why I think SRF would be a good shout - if they couldn't tell or are unlikely to check, then I guess it's a moot point.Just for reference in case you go non porsche

It might well be as even if you cook your brakes they are not covered by warranty anyway. The only thing that may be covered by warranty would be the ABS pump and master cylinder but so long as you use a proper fluid like the ones you mention as a pose to olive oil or some rubbish then that fluid will contain all the right ingredients to lubricate the small components within the ABS pump and master cylinder regardless. I think you are covered if you use equal to oem or better than oem but I`ve never heard of anyone have the fluid tested...J-P said:

As the car is only a year old it will still be under manufacturers warranty so put what you like in it. It's only the extended warranty where you can't use anything else, even though I doubt they'll ever pick up what brand of brake fluid you're using unless it's Super Blue.Martian O said:
