My cars 9 months old and done 3,400 miles and a message popped up tonight 'Oil change due 16600 miles 30 days' not a problem I'll just book it in, it just surprised me, never happened on my 987.2 Boxster or my Gen 2 Cayman must be 911 thing I guess.
It's obviously wrong... Mine had the same and the OPC just rest the computer to the right date. For some reason some had it set at less than 12mths when coming from the factory.
Mind you, a little oil change when 1yr old cant be that bad for an engine of more than 100hp/l..
