996 White dusty smoke on startup

I own a 996 C2 2002 39k, i bought this car about a month ago as most of you guys will know " I just had to own a Porsche 911"
The car is absolutely amazing, more fun than my M3 E92 "now sold"
A slight concern of mine is that on the odd start up the car smokes, the smoke is white and dusty and resembles the smell of a choked car, like unburnt fuel. It doesn't seem to smell of burning oil at all but I could be wrong. Everything is fine mechanically with the car, Porsche have given the car a clean bill of health, only one advisory about the RMS having a slight damp area around it. I was told this is nothing to worry about, they said they will monitor it on each service.
The car runs rock solid, as new I would say, no strange noises and doesn't smoke while being driven. I allow the car to warm up slowly and allow the car to cool after each use. It doesn't use oil or water, all seem usual to me.
I'm looking for some advise from any seasoned Porsche owners out here that may have the same problem with their 996.

If the smoking event is brief, occurs only at cold engine start, and oil and coolant levels are stable and the engine runs ok and doesn't exhibit any other signs of distress the smoking is normal.
If you notice the engine idle rpms go up and down say a hundred or so rpms or the smoking persists longer than a moment or two or has the smell of anti-freeze that is not normal and you get the car to the shop ASAP, perferrably by having the car towed (flat bedded).
While the above reads dire it is just the signs of a failed AOS which is not super serious unless the signs are missed or just ignored.

In the year and a bit I've owned mine, it's done it 3 times. Very disconcerting but the first time it done it was after about a month of ownership. Apparently it's more likely to happen if you start it again after you've started and run it for a few seconds such as moving it out of the garage for a wash and then put it back 30minutes later.
