Just for fun: which 997 would you buy and why

4GTS or manual 997.2 4S for me. Meteor Grey Metallic. Only downside is what the depreciation would be!

I like the GTS but i'd go for the 4S.

This. Never seen the need for 4WD except for the wide body and for the road the C2S is all you'd ever need. The 911 has a feel that no mid engines car will ever have and the C2S is the best compromise in the range as a usable, quick car, IMO.

On my third and would hands down choose a 997.2 C2S Manual, ran this one for two years and loved it, perfect car for all occasions, fast, subtle when needed, flash enough when needed, comfy. No need for the 4S, 2s has loads of grip plus the 4S looses front boot space because of the diff.

Something about a silver boggo C2 manual does it for me. With the 5 spoke alloys or the lobster claws not the fancypants Turbo ones that looks distinctly 'aftermarket'.
