I'm hoping the indicators inside the front lights are temporary, but otherwise that looks simply stunning.

was that the liquid metal paint on the 918 or something more standard like GT silver? If it was liquid silver, I have to say it looks very different in the sunlight than under fluorescent lights.

They do look odd, but if you look at other photos part of the explanation is that there are vents at the bottom of the bonnet, so the bonnet kind of dives down lower than than the bumper.

I don't think that explains all of the gaps, but it does explain that one. I think it's still a prototype as well, not 100% final styling.
