Free Porsche Event, Oulton Park Gold Cup 2013

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is free admission for car(must be a Porsche) driver and 1 passenger at the Gold Cup this year, 25th-26th August.
A full weekend of motorsport for free !

You have to pre book and turn up in a Porsche. It is to celebrate the 50th aniv of the 911 and the 60th for Oulton.

Haven't planned which day(s) to be there yet as my daughter has a couple of gigs, with her band at the weekend, so planning to fit round those.

The parade is lunch time on Sunday, you have to buy a ticket for £10 to do it. If that was the case at Silverstone then they would have raised 12K !!

Is it a fair pace or controlled lap, as I've only had the car a few days.

I think you have to buy in advance online, so need to be quick. I doubt that you would exceed 25 mph if the video of the Silverstone parade is anything to go by, no helmets etc.
