993 Suspension Koni FSD Upgrade

My 993 has done 60k, I suspect the original Monroes are shot.
The best price for Koni FSD's I have found is £742.00 for a set (can anyone do better?).
Is changing the shocks a DIY proposition? I want to keep the original springs so I realise I need a sprng compresser.
Any clues on how much an indie would charge for the swap and the geo?

Redline racing charged (I think) £600 to fit my HD's on the 993 & included a full geo & corner weight.

DIY should be fine (i think there was a tutorial on jackals website iirc?) but I'd want someone who knew more than me to do te set up.

Beauty of doing it yourself is you can check out all your bushings & ball joints yourself & make a decision from there.

Don't bank on it just costing you the price of the shocks plus a geo. I'd expect a total price of £1.5 - £2k when you've factored in top mounts bushes etc.

Centre of Gravity are THE best knowing the 993 and other models inside out. They will fit your own shocks etc and attend to the other matters whilst hey geo.

Personally for an extra £300 I'd put new springs on. After all you're only going to do this once.........

KW v1 is a low cost high quality coil-over I'd get someone like 9 excellence to do it.
