RS Build numbers Total 911

Article in Total 911 on the stunning white 997 RS states since 1999 there has been 14,145 RS models made. I thought that sounded rather a lot if you think for example that the 996 RS was total production of 640 ish cars?? I could of course be totally wrong on this???

Very possibly but my understanding was that 640 996 RS models were made in total worldwide . No doubt Agtlaw on here will be able to confirm this???

Yeah, that sounds about right, with about 100 or so coming to uk, hmm.

14000 of all RS models does sound high, strange.

As you say AGT will know.

Ah now thats interesting. I cant imagine if the 996 total numbers are correct then there have been circa 13,500 RS models in 997 Guise built So maybe it is all gt3 variants.

Sounds like the total number of GT3s or possibly total RS cars since the 2.7 RS. I could look at some figures later.

It's nice to see the numbers for the 964 RS America but it doesn't belong in that list IMHO.

...and only 6 in RHD (5 in the UK and 1 in Australia i believe?). Makes a 997 4.0 RS look common

Only if they state RS, with the new 991 GT3 coming out the magazines (Car & Evo etc) have been quoting 14k-odd GT3s built since 1999

If you want RS numbers only Andrew is your best bet-I don't have the full numbers.
