Best five appreciators in the next 5 or 10 years.
Interestingly this question has been posed in the Ferrari section and wondered what the Porsche fans see as the future classic Porsche's if it is not too late already as so many 911's have moved up in value.
For my two penny's worth I list the following that I think still have potential movement in value:
928 GT
924 Carrera GT
Carrera GT
930 turbo
993 2 and 4 S

930 + 964T will keep going.
Nice 964s in general although they probably won't sky rocket. Same for 3.2s etc.
996RS surely will. Good ones have been £60k for years.
Apart from that I can't actually see big changes over the next 5 years. Too much still unknown about whether we'll crash as a country, or whether the majority of us will just slowly slide into poverty....
or hopefully neither of those, but I'm not counting my chickens.

Avoiding the obvious that will probably continue to run and run --
997GT2 Clubsport ... less than 15 in the UK and a much better car than the 996.
Last of the Mezger / manual / five stud wheels cars with fully switchable TC and PSM, only !
Most of the speed of a CGT and none of the cost or the fear ...
GT2RS and GT3 4.0L of course, but they are twice the cost and therefore have less upward potential.
Oldies --- 1974/5 2.7 Carrera Impact Bumper --- there may be 15 good RHD ones left in the UK ?
As always, it's a numbers game.

Speculative but based on talk in classic car circles.
911 Carrera 3.2 is the hot favourite at the moment amongst all IB cars followed by:
911 Carrera 3
911 Carrera 2.7 190 BHP version not the American K Jetronic pish
930's have reached their peak of 30-45k anybody selling above are just trying their hand.
996 GT3 Mark 1
996 GT3 RS
996 GT2

Do you not think that the amount of so called special additions of the 997 and 991 dilute the long term collectable / investment potential of these models as it seems that the next special addition is always more everything to over shadow the previous limited run. Where as older cars such as 924 Carrera GT, 993 GT2, 928 GT, Carrera GT, Carrera 3.0 are over and done and now stand or fall on their own merit / place in Porsche history.
