924/944/968 water temperature sensor thread size

Does anybody know? I thought it was 3/8" NPT but that's too big and the reference below implies it's M12x1.5. I'm fitting SPA Design temperature gauges and it's turning into a mission because there's endless combinations of adapters.

If anybody has fitted SPA gauges and has a good source for adapters, please let me know.

Anybody? Merlin Motorsport will apparently make up adapters to order but I need confirmation of the water temperature gauge thread size.

Ended up buying a thread gauge to check. For reference, it's M14 x 1.5 and the adapter was £7.99 on ebay.

Was this to replace the dash gauge or something else?

Just interested if you replaced the original sensor or supplemented it with another one elsewhere?

This would have been my suggestion had I seen your post before now. Always better to check for yourself than trust internet opinion.
