Serious Rev Range 2 activity

I went out for a ride on my bike this evening. Given my age, I am "red lined" at 167bpm (220 less my age). I must have missed a gear or something because it appears that I over revved and hit 169bpm at the end of a particularly difficult uphill section. I don't know if I changed down too early or just over blipped. I know that I might have had a bit of valve bounce but I am very concerned and need some advice.

Will my Health Insurance be void now even if I make an unrelated claim?
Will I need a 111 point check before being considered for renewal?
Would it be a wise precaution to have a bore scope?
Can I have my ECU wiped or will I need a new ECU to be fitted outside of the main network?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Normal procedure here is to pay £400 to have a blood sample taken and sent off for analysis.

Providing they find absolutely nothing wrong, you will be allowed to pay another £1,200 to renew your life insurance for another year. However, should you suffer terminal failure within that year, there is no guarantee your insurer will pay out anyway (in lieu of the previous over rev).

If there is any hint of a problem with your sample, you will be declined for insurance and destined only for the cat food factory (or frozen lasagne).

^^ what you mean is, his cousin London GT3 Cup has the same genetic disposition and goes for rides more often and frequently hits over 200 bps with no after affects. Therefore London GT3 should really not worry...nothing should happen to him
