Hi,

Quick link to pics:

http://public.fotki.com/Matt911/porsche_911_996_x50/

I have been reading this forum for quite a while now, having recently bought a Porsche. Finally got round to uploading some pretty decent pictures and registering here instead of just lurking

The car is a 996 Turbo with X50, Aerokit, Sportech (i think that's the name!) 18" wheels, Sat Nav etc. etc.

I was only making initial enquiries regarding availability of a new 996 Turbo and also checking prices on pre-owned when this car became availble, luckily i got to see the car just as it arrived with the dealer (it was covered in mud and needed a damn good clean!), it basically had everything i wanted and was also in a colour that i liked (Meridian).

That was it, my heart took over and i had the car in my hands within a week The OPC did a great job of prepping the car, it looked completely new.

I have uploaded a few pics here: http://public.fotki.com/Matt911/porsche_911_996_x50/ for anyone that is interested, be warned if you click the link to get the original uploaded image they are around 1.5mb each

Guess that's about it, hope too see some of you around sometime!

Cheers

Matt

Lovely mate.
Picked up my Turbo recently too, and am in love with it !
I pity that front lip spoiler though, mine is not painted & its been scraped several times already & being black it doesn't really show, but I bet the silver paint wont stay on there for long !

Yes joined the PCGB a few weeks back, and definatly want to attend some track days, slight anxious as never done it before, though !

Regarding the front lip, yes it is a tad on the low side! , i have worked out how to take all the tricky kerbs etc. that i need to navigate daily (after a few early scrapes!) so far the paint is intact, i will try to keep it that way.

The car is currently back with the OPS as i had an engine managment warning light come on driving a Saab 93 Aero atm which i really do like (not a touch on the porsche of course!)

Cheers

To quote Darth, "the ultimate power in the universe."

Exceptional. (Sensible colour to maintain, too.)

Bravo.
