I've had a nose round this car a couple of times when my TVR has been with them recently. I'm not an expert on 3.2 Carreras but it looked immaculate to me. Absolutely factory fresh to my eye. I don't remember it sitting high at the back when I saw it either but can't be totally sure although it is the sort of thing that I would normally notice. Agree it looks that way in the pics though.
When I first saw it about a month ago it was on for much more, about £30k. Not sure why they have dropped to £23k but maybe people are put off by the HPI accident thing.
If it helps, I am a repeat customer of Fernhurst and am happy to recommend them. They are very well respected in the TVR community so I wouldn't hesitate to talk to them if you are interested.

I wonder how relevant the fact that it is been recorded really is.
This is an old car and seriously how many are completely accident free? And those that are may have had panels replaced due to rust etc.
I guess it depends on the nature of the repair and the quality.
As ever, a proper inspection will reveal all.

Its not just had an accident, it was classified as a write off by the insurance co when nearly new. Must have been a fairly big one to write off a nearly new car in the late 80's, insurance companies weren't quite as quick to write off then before all the claims management companies existed and drove up costs.
Not sure how this effects cars of this age, but will certainly put off a lot of buyers I would have thought.

I was all set on viewing this car as it ticked the boxes.
Found out about the history and moved on.
Mine was the best in the UK for sale I was aware of and hence my purchase.
The car in question may be fine but it always has the stigma of been on the register & that would bother me as I wanted a classic to keep
