What's the costs to remove it

Not sure of costs but I'd imagine it wouldn't be that cheap as you would have to replace the rear panel and reinstate the electrics to allow the spoiler to lift at speed. Probably easier to live with it! Although I agree that version of the aerokit isn't the most elegant solution.

That said if you can find someone looking for one you may be able to do a swap and then just sort out the electrics.

If its a good car and you can live with it I'd buy and leave as is. If you aren't sure of the spoiler just keep looking, there are a lot of cars out there that won't need the spoiler changed

I had pretty much the same car except with the cup kit.

Luckily the seller gave me the original engine lid.

But I had to buy a new brake light for it(20 - 80 new), and a new wiring harness (30 - Cannot seem to buy from porsche) for the active spoiler as the one on there will not have the spoiler wiring.

The actual fitting itself is not hard, comes off with 4 bolts and just put the engine fan on.

I like both looks, cup spoiler is next to me which I put back on later.

Engine lids with full wiring seem to be about 150-200 on ebay, assuming you have a colour match.
