The humble 2010 plate Cayenne Turbo?

If someone had told me this in 2010 I would have called them crazy.

Just shows what happens when only 50 of them per year get sold.

Strasse Leeds have just sold a 2005 cayenne turbo for something like £20k - it was over ONE HUNDRED GRAND new as it had virtually ever bell, whistle, horn.......in fact the full orchestra

That's a simply ridiculous amount of money to lose in 8 years - can you imagine finding out your £100k car is worth £20k?

Now that is depreciation - anyone experienced worse?

I had a look for a mate earlier, Non-OPC 2010 plates for a Cayenne Turbo are going for £80-83k. I remember the 3-year GFV for these was set at £35k.

Supply/demand I suppose the Generation 1 Cayenne Turbos were built in much larger numbers and were less desirable due to their looks.

People probably didnt like the depreciation and so this is why only 50 per year are being sold at the moment.

Oh the joy of a 2011 cayenne diesel, a 996 gt3.2 and a fiat 500 Abarth. Has thre even been cheaper motoring?
