I'd rather less peak power and a smoother torque curve. It does look a bit nothing nothing then bang which goes against the smooth style and chassis of a Boxster. How much does this cost vs a 3.7 or 911 engine'd Boxster?

This one is of course being built as a race car but more torque lower down would presumably be acheivable with the appropriate map.

I've been following a couple of these Subaru swap projects for the last few years... I think it's an interesting alternative.

I am sure it will be significantly cheaper than upgrading to a 3.7 engine and you still have your old, (hopefully) running engine to sell for extra cash.

I'd be interested in an early Cayman with this conversion...
