Anyone know the history of this car?

Been up for sale for a while and it's at a decent price. Seems to have been sold by them a few times but I suppose that doesn't mean much. Thinking of changing my 991s for it.

I think, if it's the same one, it's been for sale since this time last year. JZM are a quality outfit though and sell the best of these cars. The orange and green RSs tend to fly out the door, so maybe it's the colour, or that a 3.8 Gen2 is in similar ball park? I would doubt there's anything wrong with it knowing Russ and Jonas...but as we all know it only takes one buyer and all cars have a selling price...just need to marry the two.

Call them and chat about it...you'll know quickly if there's a deal to be done and Aug is a quiet month!

It's a stunning looking thing - I must clicked on that ad and drooled about 50 times - as you point out, it's been there a while

As good as 991's undoubtedly are, I've never been as stirred by them as I am by stuff like this RS - personal taste though

One thing in the RS' favour though, it won't be worth £25k in 8 years time unlike the C2S

It's got the good spec - ceramics etc, possibly only lacking sat nav - I say go for it (but I am slightly biased)

White gen 1's always take a while to sell.

They are offering a years warranty so I suppose that's good but I do wonder if I would be getter with a gen 2 gt3. Think the rs would hold its money better though.

Gen 2 GT3 = great car

RS is more hardcore though - depends what you want

There are some good 997.2 gt3's about at present - check out the red one at Malton - big bucks though

Well the misses is due our second early December and I was using my 991 as the daily driver but I'm going to get a navara for the work as a company brief so it would purely be a toy. I think after having the 991 I might be better with a gen 2 car but
I love the rs enough to not bother about the PCM etc.

You cannot touch gt3s for drama, noise, big daft wing etc etc - only the discerning gentleman enthusiast appreciates and understands them in comparison to the carrera (which is a bloody good car no doubts there)

I have a comfy car for the kids and the gt3 for weekends - its the way forward

Plus roll cage = no kids in the back scraping the seat backs..........haha

Might be better waiting until November time and see if the prices have dropped for the winter. Ill call JZM tomorrow and more importantly vw finance to see what the settlement is on the 991
