Nice, really nice. I remember the Car roadtest (a black example) they were soooo frustrated that no matter what they did, they couldn't coax more than 149mph out of it.
As I understand it, none of the specific GTC ABS/plastic panels are available anymore ? Internet myth or correct for what is now a 32 year old car now ?

Id be surprised if they were. Rear arches were still available in 1994 and I was surprised by that then. Their £700-odd price tag seemed outrageous, but that wont get you a pair of normal 951 steel wings now, so...

I think this was on ebay about six months ago, I missed out on it. It was about half that price from memory but needed a little work.

£10,000 was about right. Paul Youngs sold and was talked about here for £8,000 only a few years ago IIRC.

A friend of mine in the property industry owned a red one with the number plate "NOT 944". I always told him I would like to buy it. About 10 or more years ago he finally said he would consider selling it and agreed to let me test drive it. He wanted £10,000 and I fell in love with it. Sadly he then decided not to sell it which was a great shame. It was a lovely example with a great plate.
