Cayman Gen 2 rear fog lights

have been changing the lighting on my Cayman Gen 2 today. When checking the front fogs, I also checked the rear fogs to make sure all was well but i noticed that only the drivers side fog was lit up. this normal ? would think both sides would light up but not having the car that long, im unsure. can some advise/check what it should be.

Only fitted with one, on the offside

the front fogs are a real pain to replace really awkward to get back.
