Porsche dealer hourly rates / specialists in Wilts?

So, i'm looking to buy a cayman in 5 months or so and am trying to do as much research as I can so ultimately I can be as prepared for any eventualities. I was wondering what hourly rate Porsche of Swindon or Bristol charge for labour, services etc. Or if there were any suitable specialists I could take the car to in Wilts/SW.

Additionally, has anybody any experience of the Warranty Wise warrantys, at £91 a month they seem fairly expensive !

Can't answer the question about the hourly rates, but there is a very reputable specialist on Hopton Park Industrial Estate in Devizes called Steve Bull.

Would be worth giving them a call.

£105 an hour from memory.

http://www.neilgarner.co.uk at Kemble is £60 and hour and excellent. Ex F1 and looks after Britcar winning GT3. Have used him for 968, GT3, 1970 2.2s and 3.2 and perfect every time. Stopped using OPC Bristol now - although they always looked after me well.

Steve's rates will be a round the 50-60 plus vat mark.Just looked at an invoice but its not listed.

Just had some work done at OPC Cardiff who are part of the Dick Lovett group (incorporating the OPC's of Swindon & Bristol. To be honest Bristol OPC are nearer to me but the cost was significantly less as Cardiff's hourly rate is much less than Bristol.

If my car was not still under warranty I would use Northway. Even though a bit of a trek for me, my experience of dealing with Ray & the team is second to none - exceptionally knowledgable & helpful with an excellent reputation. Good price for work too.

Just had my car serviced at Northway, another thumbs-up from me.

FWIW my brother has a BMW and his local main dealer is BMW Chiswick. Their labour rate is £198 per hour (£165+VAT)
