996 sevo linkage

has anybody ever had trouble with the linkage from the servo to the bulkhead seizeing up ? in the winter the brake pedle was solid and now the pedal just feels wrong and does not travel back straight away. i found the scuttle pannel was filling up with water but have since unblocked the two drain holes. is there any quick fix for this ?

Could it be the shaft/pivot point for the brake pedal has rusted? If so, some spray oil should help.

But I would be more concerned about any other damage the water may have done.

Hi if you have had any water around bulkhead drains then water may have worked its way into the servo itself,and its this thats seized,there was a mod on standard 996 that had a two boot system,which could cause the brakes to stay on when servo seized.
