Took the plunge - Cayman 3.4 S

After several coats of looking at, and scanning every article about engine issues, have now purchased a Cayman 3.4 S.

Very pleased and I think the seller may even be on here as he's a Porsche nut.

Its got the wifes vote as it means I wont be having another motorbike for a while.

Looks a nice car. I think i want a cayman s as my next car, have not driven one yet though. Would like to hear your thoughts on it once you have had it a while.

So that seems to be the standard spec then? Iam looking around for a Cayman S , 2006/7 but i want one with the satnav package. I know some come with the optional sports chrono pack as well. I dont want one with the "active" suspension as am i right in thinking, it can be problematic?

Altho that plate wont be on for much longer once DVLA get their finger out

On the contary, its very reliable. The problem is replacement costs are much higher than standard shocks if it goes wrong.
