962 replica road car project

the customer who we repaired the 959 for last year has brought this over from japan. it just needs an original looking rear wing and some oe style wheels and its gonna look near as damn it 100 percent accurate from the outside. cant wait to road test this! hopefully be ready before the britcar pcgb support races so i can bring it there if i persuade the owner to come along as he sponsors the race car.

only a 3.2.its got the altitude corrector underneath it. we noticed this on pics from japan when we were trying to guess whether it what engine it had, as we had no engine shots then. gonna take that out and put a modded 993 turbo engine in i think

its actually a 964 engine. ive got a link we was originally sent of it on the road in japan, they also show in the engine bay etc. cant put it on here as im a numpty. gonna have a word with another guy who sponsors my race cars and see if he wants to buy it so we can convert it into a racer. ill get someone who has half a clue with computers to put the link up!

a few more shots without the body. the gt1 ish looking car in the background on the ramp is 1 we nearly brought a few years ago. it had central seating position, in car adjustable anti roll bars and a f3000 engine box brakes etc. its now avaliable less running gear for about 4k i think. its in england now down south

i would of thought you could get some pics. ill try to get a time tomorrow, got to confirm what time we are leaving monday. probably be a bit of a guess as its 140 miles for us plus traffic.

Sounds good - it looks like the compound at dock gate 4 from the pictures. Be good to see it (hear it) in the flesh. Are you driving it all the way back to Birmingham ?
