For a bit of fun if you could take the best aspects from any roadgoing Porsche of all generations what would it end up like? For Crimp a Length this game should be quite easy... What would your dream Porsche be?

What are the best ever:
Wheels
Exterior bodyshape (and colour!)
Interior
Transmission
Engine
Handling

Once we've all had a play we can send our order off to Singer and have a whip round

(will anyone chose a Porsche that isn't real engined I wonder...)

Interesting you've gone for new interior - I think I would too as they seem to get better over time. Maybe I should have listed seats separately though?

I think that would be a new thread on which interior parts are best, I just like the look of the new interior, prehaps it has lost some of its identity though all the dials still in 911 fashion. For me the footwell is slightly smaller than the 996 and 997 which could be annoying on a long journey.

Surely your answer is easy at the mo - all the categories from the new car! Other than working in a dealership can't imagine many people have a better knowledge of so many differing porsches - what's the oldest/newest models you've had?

Oldest a 78 911 SC (first 911 bought it 2003)
Newest present car GT3.
Owned a lot of the older air-cooled stuff, SC/ supersport x 2/930/964 Turbo/993 C4S/Carrera 3.2.
Then 2 x 996 Turbo's a GT2 and now a GT3.
Fooking eck thats quite a lot no wonder the wife doesn't speak to me............

Lots going for it but annoying clutch, show off looks and ice rink handling for the road....

Not defending the clutch especially but sorted geo and better more modern tyres fix that by all accounts. I refer you last months EVO.
