Dont you just luv t'internet! Don't use it and he's a tool, or use it modestly, and be faced with a multitude of 'experts' telling him they were looking for something with lower mileage... 
As pointed out, it sold rather quickly, so the latent interest and desire for 'em appears undiminished. Price doesn't appear to be important either, and it does highlight the stunning value of the ones available in the £40k bracket. I guess the lesson is not to use your Porsche...

Mine had 80k on it and was for sale for near on 2 years...................

LOL! There is quiete some truth in that. On the other hand, imagine all the fun the owner did miss in those 11 years and he still lost money in the end. Apparently he didn't even admire its looks since he says, it was kept under a cover. As pointed out, it sold rather quickly, so the latent interest and desire for 'em appears undiminished. Though if he had done another 40000 miles in it, he would have been looking at £1 per mile depreciation!

And I'm very pleased for both parties. It can do nothing but good for all us GT2 owners. On a separate note, it's good to see both the higher mileage examples find new homes recently as well. There does appear to be a bit of a freeing up of the recent log jam.

Don't wish your life away Ed. We had it in stock for 9 months and having acquired the car from you in November 2012 had the winter to contend with, admitedly not the best season to bring a GT2 to market. Hope you and yours are well. Glad you are bonding with the GT3. Mine had 80k on it and was for sale for near on 2 years...................
