19" wheels on a 6T

My boss is looking at some TechArt 19s to go on his 6T.

I've had a quick search and found some threads which I've forwarded to him but in essence, is he likely to screw up the ride and handling with 19s? The car's lovely (bought from 911virgin a few months back) and I have to say that I rather like the stock rims.

That said, nothing wrong with trying them and selling them on if they're no good. They come with spacers included, presumably there shouldn't be any issue with offsets and rubbing/fouling?

I once had a 6T with Techart 19s. Too much pitch and yaw. The wheels are just too heavy for the standard suspension to cope. Stick with standard.

Techarts are the work of the devil. Very heavy, frequently made as generic wheel, (which therefore requires spacers to make fit properly on varying models) Avoid. All the more so as 19" wheels on a 996 just don't look right (IMO)
