Tip to manual gearbox swap? 964

Hi,
I have found a 964, just sitting in someone's drive. It looks like car has not been driven (or cleaned) for many a year.

Track toy I think..

But it's a C2 - Tip! The car looks like it needs a full repaint (the paintwork has all gone white)

My question is - As I would want to turn into a track toy (strip out, cage, coilovers.... You get the picture) how much would it be to swap the gearbox out for a manual?

The short answer is too much! You'd be best buying a car that's already been converted (my old race car might still be for sale - not by me), it'll work out MUCH cheaper. Starting with a tired car with the wrong gearbox you'll spend WAY more than if you spent £25-35k on a suitable car in the first place (with the right gearbox!) and have a lot less hassle.

As above. Looked into this a while ago, the amount of parts required is not insignificant and it's the cost of these parts that would make it uneconomic unless you buy the car dirt cheap.
