Who has upgraded the 996tt and what did you do?

Just a general post to see what work you guys out there have done on your cars....

From the minimum of just a remap, through to exhaust, intercoolers etc. etc. what did you go for and why?
Idea of cost or at least what parts you thought were most important would be handy. Ideally under 600Bhp cars or I know the prices can get silly!

There are plenty on here who've modded there's, from an exhaust to silly bhp with serious mods.

I've just done the basic, for a nicer soundtrack and fitted a Ruf exhaust. All depends what you want out of the car really. You're budget will really be the deciding factor in what you do, or how much sooner you want to lose you're licence, lol!

I was looking at the following order (which I may do all at once), is this the right way around (have I missed anything important?):

Milltek 100 CEL cat exhaust + remap, done last October by AMD at Thurrock.
What was a vey quick car is now a very, very, very quick car and sounds a little better too!

Are these necessary on the Porsche? Will the standard ones split or is this because you've got bigger brakes?

You missed out the most important component

6 pot front callipers! You'll need them if you are increasing the power

I bought my X50 with a Manthey remap and Alcon floating discs with 6 pot calipers. I need 15 mm spacers to get the front wheels over the calipers. Once the front is out that far you need to put them on the rear to match, or the car looks out of line. It goes well and stops equally as well. I don't think there are noticeable performance gains from a zorst? So I've never added to what's been done. Even although I never paid for the work, JZM have always taken the time to answer my questions about what's been done and other running issues.

I am running 315 rear tyres and the necessary front tyres to match.

I can't seem to find the 997 GT2 RS intercoolers anywhere, am I being thick!?
