As per title.
If you could order any factory fresh 911, from any era, which would you choose and why?
Assume the following:
1. You can only spec the car as it originally was from that era, i.e. no modernising or backdating etc.
2. You cannot base your choice on 'best residuals'!
3. Dont forget to add the reason(s) why you would order your chosen model!

1967 - 1968 911 R
it was a very close call between that and the 73 RSR, that video of hurley haywood driving his around sebring after all those years has really gotten to me but the earlier R nudges it i think.
