Ambient lighting - Help

As above really. Where are the LEDS for door handles pockets etc or is it just directed light from above?

Also setting the thing seems to make little difference.

Like the puddle lights in the mirror housings though and the 'intelligent ' folding/unfolding.

Now if the rain would stop.............

or lighten up a bit....
