What's the latest thinking on indoor covers?

Spent the summer getting the garage refurbed and thinking it's time for a cover. Wo makes the leading ones now?

I've a Porsche one that fits properly and seems fine. I am sure there are others out there which may be better, but it was an easy choice knowing it would fit with my aerokit

Not worth the hassle imho.

Plus you have to make sure the car is super clean before you put the cover on, otherwise you can scratch the car.

I guess it depends on how often you use your garage. Steve has a point about making sure it is clean, but i use my garage alot, so for me it is vital.

Covercraft make great flannel indoor covers. Higher quality than anything else I've seen.

I have an expensive proper porsche cover never use it as its pain in the rectum to put on.
But i use a cheap nylon one, works a treat and have had it 10 yrs.

After seeing the prices of a "good quality" cover, I decided to go the whole hog and bought an air chamber.

I have been considering this but until now I have been using a silk dust sheet with a seperate black flat sheet over the roof first as it's a cab. There is nothing worse than white bobbles stuck over a black roof! This method also makes it easier to get in to the car as I would imagine a fitted cover would make this very awkward so after reading this thread I for one will carry on as I am.

A Carcoon, the one with a frame is best if you get it out semi regularly. All car covers scratch to some extent.

Carcoon Veloce (framed drive-in drive-out version) is superb option if you have the space.
