Those large badges on the rear of near porsche's

Is it just me or are the new large P O R S C H E badges on the back of the latest 981's etc and bit vulgar and unsubtle?

The new Cayman looks incredible but that massive P O R S C H E badge stuck on the back just looks a bit tacky imo. The little cayman badge underneath would surly be enough on it's own no? Just an observation.

Agree 100%,I was shot down on here before for suggesting it. Imho the Box/Cayman also appear too "high & narrow" at the rear - I much prefer the "low & flat" look of the spyder. Sorry for go'n off topic a bit! Don't like the intigrated spoiler either-think it might date quite quickly. Apart from that they're probably £ for £ the best car on the road!

My Cayenne has the de-badge option. But still has the PORSCHE on the rear end as normal. Its the Cayenne and Diesel badges which are removed. Probably be the same for the Cayman too

Agree way too large. But best looking Boxster / Cayman variants so far - look much more substantial and more like the "new 911" than th 991 in my view. And I am not a Boxster fan. - or wasn't!

You can specify no model type (for free) but you are stuck with P O R S C H E

However, dental floss is the way to go to remove that plus some paint safe glue remover.

The PORSCHE lettering is actually quite retro, as it used to be on the engine lid of earlier 911s. But, these days, it's to identify the model in the likes of China, India, Russia, etc.

Personally, I think the name and model scripts now look too cluttered and I would elect to have them removed.

I can understand vulgar Russians and nouveau riche carpet salesmen from essex enjoying the oversized badge, but surly the car itself should do the talking, it's a beautiful coupe. That badge is way OTT and I think may exasperate the popular opinion that all Porsche drivers are posers/ brash yuppie's.

Like them. Missed the impact bumper style red reflector with "porsche" on it. Very characteristic of the breed.

If you want subtle, buy a Toyota!

Agree that P O R S C H E is retro, also agree it's a little unsubtle. Then again if I cared about subtlety I wouldn't have ordered a white convertible.

Nobody apart from me? I really don't like the Aerokit, GT3 or GT3RS, nor do I like decals.

If I was ordering a new car I would go with the delete model designation option.

I like the aerokit but only on the GT cars, IMHO it's a bit sheep in wolf's clothing adding one to a regular Carrera
