997.2 coolant level

I have been to look at a gen2 997 and noticed the coolant level was about 1cm below the min level. There was clearly coolant in the bottle just below the minimum. Is this fairly normal and just not been topped up, it was last serviced 1 year ago or is there going to be a leak somewhere??

I am afraid we would need some sort of crystal ball to answer that!

Have you;

Asked the owner?
Checked for leaks?
Checked the filler cap for excessive mayo?
Had it inspected by a competent person?

It's at a dealer, just wondered if any 997.2 owners had any observations of theirs??

You generally get a 'check coolant level' warning if it falls below the minimum mark. If this is not present its probably ok.
