Cayenne air suspension oddness?

Morning all.

Ever now and then my Cayenne raises or lowers itself automatically without me changing any setting. This only happens when I lock or unlock it.

However there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why it only does this occasionally and most the time it just sits parked quite happily in the 'normal' level setting. Been googling around and read the manual (believe it or not), but can't find anywhere that suggests if this is normal or not.

First world problems and all that, but just wondered if anyone could shed any light. Cheers.

Never had that issue.

May still carry on adjusting if its in the middle of changing setting and you turn off car.

Air suspension covered under warranty so take in if any doubts.

You can get a calibration program run on the air suspension which tends to resolve these sort of issues. There is also a load/unload level that can be configured, but if it only does it occasionally, get the calibration done.

Cheers both. Cal - the air suspension wouldn't still be under warranty would it on 2003 Cayenne Turbo?

Ken,might well book the car in with your for the calibration as well as couple of other niggles. Are you open Saturdays to drop the car off?

Always good to have a day off, but also positive to have the issue you need to work an extended week as business is good.

My Touareg does this, I believe it may be the courtesy access setting. For me the switch is on the left of the steering column. YMMV.
