Saggy seats, UAI retrofit

I just bought a Cayenne S. Very happy with it overall. Good spec and good condition, or at least it is cleaning up nicely. Only one thing I am struggling with. The chap I bought it from was a person of size - I would say 20 stone plus. The car was done 75000 miles and the last owner has done most of them. The seats are actually ok - no rips and tears and they have cleaned up well. They are just a bit, well, squashed. Is there anything I can do to put some spring back in them?

One other question - the car has PCM3 but not the universal audio interface, which is a bit odd. Anyone know the cost of a retrofit and is it really universal....?

By a 'gentleman of size', are you saying in a sensitive and touchy-feely way that the previous owner was a big fat biffa who has squashed the seats?

Id say that theyre knackered. You can buy replacement foams (or at least you could for proper Porsche seats) and an upholsterer can fit them for you. You can probably do it yourself, but theres a good chance that youll struggle to get the covers back on and looking right.

Not 100% but I believe steam can help re-shape the foam. Depending on how badly the leather is sagging, heat can sort that out, I did a little more with my BMW seats, but here's what it can do...

75,000 miles worth of squashing is enough to leave them (the foam sections) beyond restoration, I think.

Thanks very much all. I might try the hairdryer treatment before taking a trip to Southbound or similar as that will no doubt cost a few quid.

Anyone any ideas about the cost of a UAI retrofit, please?
