Front radiator fan

Anyone help the front radiator fan seems to be coming on a bit more than usual on my gen 2 cayman any ideas ?

Have you changed your driving?

More stop and go driving can have the fans coming on more.

Ambient temp increase can have an impact too. Are you having a bit of a heat wave where you are?

How's the coolant level? Check it when cold!

Take a bright light and look at the front radiator ducts for an excessive build up of trash. Myself I've removed a lot of trash from the ducts, ahead of the condenser and between the condenser and the radiator and have not noticed any change in the coolant temp or how often the radiator fans come on, but check anyhow just in case.

Also, check that both come on and both feel like they emit the same amount of air blast. One radiator fan might be down on performance even not functioning.
