Pics from European tour with Petrolhead Nirvana

A couple of weeks ago I went on a European tour for the second time with the Petrolhead Nirvana team. It was amazing!
The organisation and effort that Pete and Bachi go to in order to make sure everyone has a good time is something that needs to be experienced.
9 days, 6 countries including the Pyrenees, the Alps, Mont Ventoux, The Millau Bridge, Stelvio, Grand St Bernard, Petit, St Bernard, Nufenen Pass, Grimsel Pass, Umbrail, Lake Livigno etc etc
The GT3 was simply awesome! Comfy on long stretches of motorway/autoroutes, planted and very confidence inspiring when the road got twisty and it even wears a rally car hat! An amazing car that I can't see myself ever parting with.

Grimsel Pass, hands down my favourite pass on the whole tour! After driving that road on the 3rd day I could have quite happily gone home 
Grimsel is a great pass, my personal favourite in that region is the Furka pass.. great pics thanks for posting!Were off out there ourselves Saturday morning heading for Monza, Mugello, Imola then six days in the Alps followed by a day at the Ring and lastly two days at Spa.. excitement is building !

The hotels were all great on the Alpine Assault tour, which is similar to Alpine South posted here.
They were all well prepared for groups with parking and dinner timed to suit us after a days driving. The hotels are fairly basic, probably 3-star, but they deliver on all the important bits -cleanliness, friendliness and great food.

Once they have put these routes together they then have to plan and pinpoint where the hotels are that are clean, safe, comfortable and secure and also have the capacity to host 30 odd people and 22 odd cars! Its not a task that I would relish myself
Some are better than others but that is the compromise you have to pay in order to get to and drive the best roads. Having said all that, all the places we stayed at were really nice and clean with en-suite bathrooms, great quiet rooms, decent restaurants etc and the only other real endorsement I could give is that I would be happy to stay at any of them again on my own in the future
