996TT vibration through steering wheel on turning

Hi Gents,

I've had my 2001 996TT Since new and it's covered 89k.

I've not had many issues with it but now it seems to warrant my attention a lot!

Whilst driving on the motorway doing 70ish..?? Turning 5-10 degrees left or right I get a nasty vibration through the steering wheel accompanied by a low drone noise. it happens turning lefty or right but NOT on te straights. It also gets loader and more violent thigh the steering wheel the faster I go,

Any ideas on what it could be??

My first thoughts are front diff ( as I had the seals replaced 15k ago) or I think both wheel bearings

Sounds like wheelbearings.

Good idea to replace both sides, if so.

Jack up each side and try rocking each wheel in all planes, any play means bearings (unless you also have any BJ's on the way out)
