Same here.

Damn alarm kept kicking off on my 993 for no reason, normally at some God awful time of the morning, to which in the end I just stopped locking the car.

He suggested the earth to the ice chassis may have come astray.
Took the Cassette player out, found the connecter, yup flapping in the wind, pushed it back on, never a problem since.

That's a 20 years old car and Pope sorted it.
