Boxster Spyder - new owner and Sunday Service

Hi All,

just purchased 2010 Boxster Spyder - white, manual - short shift, PSE, buckets, Spyder alloys and alcantara.

Would be pleased to hear from other Spyder owners - anyone going to the Silverstone Sunday Service next weekend?

Plenty of Spydermen on here and the Spyder thread on the PCGB forum is the biggest one there has ever been.

How are you finding the car? Have to say I do rate mine very highly and yours sounds a very similar spec.

I think one of the PCGB guys is going to Silverstone in his and am sure he'd be pleased to chat to you about his Spyder.

I also bought a Spyder earlier this year in January.

White, PSE, Sport Chrono, Short Shift, Buckets, Radio, Reversing Sensors, Cupholders and 6600 miles.

I am hoping to go to the Sunday Service but firstly need to get on the list and secondly not sure if I will get it past the wife!!

Welcome to the Spyder fold. Following the top advice from this forum, I purchased a Spyder back in April and am absolutely smitten with it. It's also almost identical spec to yours (minus the alcantara). Cant make Silverstone, but noticed from your profile you could be local to me? I'm based in Bristol. Also know of another local Spyder owner as well. Pm me if you fancy a meet.

I'm also ex-Lotus Elise (R & SC) like a few others on here.

welcome to Spyder ownership I bought one in May 2013 with 1400 mile on it have now added 4K on to it Great cars and 14th Porsche the best to date for enjoyment and rarity mine is the only RED one in Scotland

Welcome to the exclusive world of Spyder ownership, had mine since march 2010 and done 9000 Miles and love it. So much so , dont know how I' ll replace it . what chance a 981 Spyder. my ninth porsche and best one yet!

Spec on mine is white, pdk, carrera red full leather, radio but no PCM or AC spyder wheels. had front wrapped before i took delivery to stop stone chips.

Its never seen water - even for washing ! simply polish it with Autoglym Rapid detailer after every

outing. Not even a swirl mark on the paintwork. anal? yeah I guess!!

Zyp, it was a chilly Scottish day according to Brian - I've driven mine at -10 with the roof down, the heater is epic.

Looks increasingly unlikely I'll be able to make it - my wheels go off for a refurb and colour on Monday, so doubt I'll have them back in time.
