Bad service Porsche Dubai

Hi guys

I am from Dubai and I am an owner of a Porsche Panamera.

I am writting because the situation of service workshop is desperate over here.

Can anybody help me and advise me who to contact because I do not even believe that Porsche Germany knows what there guys are doing over here.

Just a small examples
ordering spare parts: takes over one month.
Appointments: 2 months almost to get one.
Car goes in and never comes out before 10 days even for small issues.
Even after 10 days they do not solve problems, immagine that to update the bluetotth system they claimed that the Software CD which they have is scratched and not working and they need a month at least to get it from Germany??? It seems that they use camels as courrires to get it from Germany!!

I really can not immagine that in Germany they even immagine to have such a situation over here in Dubai.

If any one can advise me what to do, the car is fantastic but service is much better for a Hyndai overhere.

Very challenging to reduce variation in overseas markets due to amongst other things, culture. Is your experience shared by colleagues with other Marques? Is the level of service a deterioration of what went previously or has it always been like that there?

I had before Range Rover, BMW and Mini cooper and so anything similar to this, this is not the first time i put the in the service center and its always the same...

If you are no longer in warranty, stop using the OPC. It has been several years since I last used one. All main dealers in Dubai have the same issues: they are monopoly suppliers with no need to compete for sales and no concept of after sales service. Like restaurants in Dubai, anything off menu is greeted with "Que?" like Manuel from Fawlty Towers.

You have the option of going to at least two very good specialists. Give up on your OPC. Seriously.

I haven't used the OPC for years. Overpriced and rubbish. ARM for me.

Unfortunately the car still has 1 year guarantee to go.

Anyway who do you use for servicing your Porsche in Dubai??

ARM - Alex Renner Motors.

He steals the good people from the OPC, then trains them up. Does a fair bit of race-prep as well.

He also looks after Ferraris & Massers
