Boxster Aircon Regassing Recommendations

My 2001 Boxster needs an Aircon regassing. I live in Cheltenham. Where would anyone recommend please?

Don't go to Halfords! They relieved my uncle of £45 to gas his 996 and said it couldn't be filled. When he came to Birmingham I took him to my mate in Small Heath who did my 997 (it was 32 degrees that day).

He looked like frosty the snowman when he left, and only thirty quid lighter in pocket

Thanks - sorry about the glitch with the thread - it appears the pesky iPhone mobile version of the forum lost the perfectly good title I typed.

KwikFit if it's a simple regas, £45 and no charge if they can't make it at least 10% cooler i.e. there's a fault and it won't hold gas or won't kick in when gassed up (as would happen if the high pressure switch was faulty for example).

Do you know why it's lost its gas? Common to have corroded condensers, which are fairly routine to replace for any competent garage.
