Panamera Turbo

Anyone driven or had one of these?
Thinking of getting one for the winter season to compliment my LR Discovery.
Seems like it could be quite a hoot to strap a few mates in and go for a hoon through the countryside..

Any thoughts or advice welcome...

Come on they are Cornish. You don't have seatbelts in combine harvesters!

Probably more suited to crushing continents than country lanes, but a very impressive feat of engineering it has to be said. I wouldn't mind a go in one myself. Photos don't really do them justice, in the flesh, they have massive road presence.

Well I regularly drive to and from East Poland so think it might be quite suitable for this and from Heathrow to Cornwall etc etc.
Plus not all roads in Cornwall are 6ft wide with 6ft tall hedges and quite empty in the winter when all the tourists are not there...

I had a Panamera (diesel) for 4 days last week and I was thinking that a turbo version would make a great family car. Apart from being too slow, it handled well, was comfortable and the cabin was nicely finished. It still looks a bit odd though but does have presence.

get past the strange (not bad, imo) looks and there is a mechanical and engineering marvel underneath. If I was going to be crossing continents on a regular basis, I know where my money would be.

Yeah I've got it bad. Current fleet is below plus the red 996 GT3 that is at JZM for me on SOR.







Just also sold my black 997 Gen 2 GT3 and my 3.2 convertible so room for two more prime pork joints in the freezer:-)
Thinking a 964 turbo has to be one of them and maybe a 996 turbo so I can back to back try the turbo family (have already had and sold a 997 turbo last year).
