not having nav a a 2007 car is a bonus imo :-)
why any one needs NAV is beyond me.
The roads I use never some up on a nav
the nav routes are always 30 miles longer.
every one uses NAV so the nav routes are busy.
if I ever need to find a inner city steet a smart phone is way more up to date than a NAV unit and does full postcode search.

Depends how you use the car - drove to Reims and back and the nav avoided traffic and plotted routes perfectly. The points of interest aren't great though, and yes, postcode search is swhy any one needs NAV is beyond me.

t.That said it looks so much tidier than an iphone or aftermarket nav system. Saw a Gallardo the other day with a TomTom stuck to the screen and wires everywhere - really cheapened the look of it IMO, so I understand why people want nav. And come resale, the dealer will beat you with the 'no nav' stick.
On balance I'm glad the car has it.

as I say it can add 1 hours to a UK trip making you drive the wrong way just to get to to a motoway.

I need NAv about twice a year, a smart phone will do that for me in the last 1 miles of when I need it.
resale is a joke, it's 2,2k to buy new a 2nd hand car bids a 1k over not having it.
buy 2nd hand you bid 1k lower, you sell 1k lower, so hardy a resale issue.
not having it from new saves you £1.2k even when selling ;-)
