New UK Porsche Vmax Record.
Our 9EXX car set a new UK Porsche Vmax record at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground today. Running at 85% boost levels whilst endurance testing the car, we ran 227gps with plenty of track and power in reserve. The car will go through more testing over the coming weeks and more details will be released. The car will attend the upcoming Vmax event. A 100-186gps time of 7.6 seconds was also recorded which at this stage of testing puts the 0-300kph time in around 14 seconds.
Big thanks to Henrik (owner of the 9EXX car), Adam at 9e who built the car, and Alex and Ryan for helping on the project over the last weeks. A great team effort.

Standard Gearing ? = fairly seriously increased rev limit ? standard car will hit max revs at around vmax in 6th no ?
An interesting exercise which proves that Porsche delightfully over-engineered the standard car in the 1st place.
What about the tyres ? are they rated to that speed ? . . .would be nice to know the engineering details involved.
They certainly seem to be ahead of the rest in obtaining the maximum power possible from this car.

How is it for driving when not going flat out? My only worry is the car becomes a bit of a one trick pony when you're up at that kind of level.
